Caroli, 1) Peter Franc., geb. 1638 in Turin; Perspectiv- u. Prospectmaler aus der Lombardischen Schule; er st. 1716 in Rom u. gab die inneren Prospecte mehrerer Kirchen Roms heraus. 2) Alexander, Graf C., ungarischer Insurgentenchef, drang 1704 bis in die Nähe Wiens vor, wurde aber durch die Siege des Generals Heister bei Raab am 13. Juli 1705 u. bei Tyrnau am 26. Dec. zurückgeworfen; er befehligte 1707 in Siebenbürgen.
