Chācao, 1) nördlichstes Departement der Insel Chiloe (südamerikanische Republik Chile); 2400 Ew.; 2) Hauptstadt darin, an der äußersten Nordostküste der Insel, ehemals Sitz eines spanischen Intendanten, liegt jetzt größtentheils in Ruinen.
