Piscatory

Piscatory, Theobold, Franzos, trat 1832 in die Deputirtenkammer, wurde später Pair u. unterstützte im Parlament die Regierung. 1841 ging er in diplomatischer Sendung nach Griechenland u. wurde 1843 französischer Gesandter u. bevollmächtigter Minister in Athen, woher er nach der Februarrevolution 1848 abberufen wurde. Angekommen in Paris trat er in den Poitierverein, wurde zu den Burggrafen gezählt u. im Mai 1849 in die Gesetzgebende Versammlung gewählt, wo er mit der Majorität stimmte. Am 2. Dec. protestirte er mit gegen den Staatsstreich, wurde verhaftet u. auf den Mont Valerien gebracht, doch bald wieder entlassen.
