Timonĭus (T. De C.), Pflanzengattung aus der Familie der Rubiaceae-Guettardeae; Art: T. Rumphii, Baum in Ostindien, dessen bittere Wurzel gegen das kalte Fieber gebraucht wird; andere Arten auf australischen Inseln.
