Ascelīnus, 1) Dominicaner; ging 1247 als Missionär nach Persien u. der Tatarei. Seine Reisebeschreibung wurde in mehrere europäischen Sprachen übersetzt; das Original in Vinc- Bellovacensis Speculum historiale, Bd. 31. 2) So v. w. Adalbero 2).
