Barbātor (neulat.), 1) Bader, Barbier; 2) im Mittelalter in einer bärtigen Larve auf Theatern auftretender Mime u. Lustigmacher; daher Barbatorĭa, Fastnachtsspiele mit bärtigen Masken.
