Batopīlas, 1) (San Pedrode B.), Stadt im mexicanischen Staate Chihuahua, am westlichen Abhange der Cordilleren, in einer tiefen Schlucht; warmes aber gesundes Klima; Hüttenamt; 5000 Ew.; 2) (Rio de B.), Fluß in Chihuahua, aus zwei Bächen gebildet, die zwischen Lloredo u. S. Joaquin in der Sierra Madre entspringen, fließt gegen W. in den Staat Cinaloa u. mündet als Rio del Furte in den Californischen Meerbusen.
