Blockzyl, Stadt u. 1581 angelegte Schanze an der Aa, im Bezirk Zwoll der niederländischen Provinz Ober-Yssel; Hafen, Schleußen; 1700 Ew. B. wurde 1672 von den Franzosen erobert, aber durch Unterstützung friesländischer Truppen wieder befreit.
