Calycŭlus

Calycŭlus (Bot.), kleiner Kelch, der Außenkelch, Nebenkelch, eine aus Blättchen od. Schuppen gebildete Blüthenhülle (Involucrum), welche den Grund eines Kelches, wie bei Dianthus, od. eines allgemeinen Kelchs (Hüllkelchs), wie bei der Georgine, wie ein äußerer Kelch umgiebt.
