Camŏrin

Camŏrin (Comorin), Cap an der Südspitze von Vorderindien, an der Halbinsel Dacca; ist für die Schifffahrt sehr gefährlich; an den Felsen findet man viel grauen Ambra; von dem venetianischen Reisenden Marco Polo, 1295, wurde es Comari genannt.
