Caulis

Caulis (lat.), der Stängel, von der Wurzel gewöhnlich aufwärts strebender, Blätter u. Blumen tragender Theil an krautartigen Pflanzen; daher Cauliformis stängelförmig; Caulĭuns aus dem Stängel entspringend.
