Chandore (spr. Tschandur), Stadt u. starke Festung in der Provinz Khandesch der britisch-vorderindischen Präsidentschaft Bombay; sie beherrscht einen Hauptpaß über die Gebirge, in denen die halbcivilisirten Bheels u. Patans wohnen.
