Cumĕra (röm. Ant.), ein aus Ruthen geflochtenes od. irdenes Gefäß, mit spitzem Deckel, worin Getreide aufbewahrt wurde Dagegen Cumĕrum (Cumillum), Gefäß mit Deckel, welches bei den Hochzeitszügen vorgetragen wurde u. worin allerhand Utensilien für die Neuvermählten waren. Die Träger des C. heißen Camilli, s.d.
