Buch, Petref.), Muschelgattung aus der Ordnung der Brachiopoden; sie haben am Schloßrande eine dreiseitige Öffnung, aus welcher ein Arm hervortritt, vermittelst dessen sie sich an Felsen od. andere fremdartige Körper anheften. D. flabelliformis Zenk. (Spirifer fragilis Schloth.), eine kleine Art, die im oberen Muschelkalk vorkommt; D. undulata, findet sich vereinzelt im Kupferschiefer.
