Normal (v. lat.), was als Norm dient, regelmäßig, mustergültig, einer Idee entsprechend. Daher Normalität (Normalzustand), der Zustand einer vollkommenen Gesundheit u. eines Körperbaues, wie er dieser am angemessensten ist u., obgleich das Gegentheil nicht störend einwirkt, in der Mehrzahl von Fällen Statt hat. Es liegt der Normalität immer eine Idee zu Grunde.
