Novĭus, 1) N., römischer Komiker, um 90 v. Chr., von seinen 40 Komödien, worin er meist römische Sujets behandelte, sind noch Fragmente vorhanden; 2) zwei Brüder N., waren zur Zeit des Augustus berüchtigte Wucherer in Rom.
