Eglinton and Winton, Archibald William Montgomery, Graf von E., Mitglied des Oberhauses, geb. 1812, ist Lordlieutenant von Ayrshire u. Lordrector der Universität Glasgow, war von 1852–54 Statthalter von Irland u. übernahm bei der Cabinetsveränderung vom 23. Febr. 1858 diese Würde zum zweiten Mal.
