Emmet, 1) Grafschaft im Staate Iowa (Nordamerika). ungefähr 20 QM., an das Gebiet Minnesota grenzend, vom Des Moines-River durchflossen; mehrere kleine Seen im Nordosten; genannt nach dem Irländer Robert Emmet; Hauptort u. Einwohnerzahl noch nicht bestimmt; 2) (Tonedagana), noch unorganisirte Grafschaft des Staates Michigan, ungefähr 10 QM., im äußersten Norden einer Halbinsel des Michigansees; 3) Städtischer Bezirk mit Postamt (Post-township), in der Grafschaft Calhoun des Staates Michigan; 1700 Ew.; 4) Städtischer Bezirk mit Postamt in der Grafschaft Dodge des Staates Wisconsin; 1400 Ew.
