Guaco (Folia stipites, Succus G. s. Huaco), südamerikanische Drogue, Stängel u. Blätter; Pflanze (Micania Willd. u. zwar bes. M. Guaco u. M. saturejaefolia, auch M. opifera) in Südamerika, der Gattung Eupatorium verwandt, durch vierblüthigen, allgemeinen, 4–5blätterigen Kelch, glockigen Blumenkronensaum, nackten Blüthenboden u. einreihige haarförmige Fruchtkrone ausgezeichnet; die Pflanze am Magdalenenflusse in Columbien, die eigentliche Guaco (M. Guaco), ist krautig, mit eirunden, zugespitzten, entfernt gesägten unterseits, wie die gefurchten Äste, rostbraun filzigen u. Blättern u. schmutzigweißen Blüthen, deren Scheibenköpfchen in vielblüthigen Doldentrauben; sie hat einen sehr starken, durchdringenden, ekelhaften Geruch, bitteren, gewürzhaften Geschmack; wird gegen Schlangenbiß u. Cholera empfohlen.
