Ormea, 1) Stadt am Tanaro in der piemontesischen Provinz Mondovi; festes Schloß, Collegiatstift, Leinweberei; 5100 Ew.; 2) Dorf in der spanischen Provinz Pampelona. Bei O. am 6. Juli 1794 Schlacht zwischen den Spaniern u. Franzosen unter Moncey, s. Französischer Revolutionskrieg, II. C).
