Pammĕnes

Pammĕnes, Thebaner, wurde nach der Schlacht bei Leuktra, 369 v. Chr., an der Spitze von 1000 Thebanern von Epaminondes nach Arkadien gesendet, um die Erbauer der Stadt Megalopolis zu schützen. Er eroberte dann den Hafen von Sikyon, nahm an dem Zuge gegen Phokis Theil, focht bei Mantinea mit u. zog 353 dem abgefallenen Artabazos gegen die königlich persischen Feldherren zu Hülfe.
