Particular

Particular (v. lat. Particularis), sich auf einen einzelnen Theil beziehend, für sich bestehend, abgesondert; im Gegensatz von universal; so: Particularconto, so v.w. Capitalconto, s.u. Buchhaltung; Particularzahlung, die in Fristen erfolgende Zahlung. Particularfriede, so v.w. Separatfriede; Particularrecht, das Recht, welches nur in einzelnen Territorien od. Landestheilen Geltung hat. In Deutschland versteht man darunter bes. die Rechtsnormen, welche sich in den einzelnen deutschen Staaten entwickelt haben, gegenüber dem auf römischen u. canonischen Rechtssatzungen u. auf deutschen Reichsgewohnheiten beruhenden Gemeinen Rechte Deutschlands. Particulargeschichte, die Geschichte einzelner Reiche, Staaten, Länder etc.
