Pir-Panjal (d. i. Heiliger Berg), Bergkette in Ostindien, welche einen Theil der Südgrenze von Kaschmir gegen das Pendschab bildet, 8–9 Meilen lang ist u. bis 15,000 Fuß aufsteigt. Die beiden Hauptpässe, auf denen man das Gebirge überschreitet, sind der Baramulapaßin Westen u. der P.-P.- Paß od. Nandan-Sar,12,000 Fuß hoch, in Osten.
