M. spielen, in Hazardspielen den verlorenen Satz so lange verdoppeln, bis man durch einen Treffer den Betrag des ersten Satzes als Gewinn erhält; sehr gefährlich, weil man oft eine sehr große Summe wagen muß, um eine kleine zu gewinnen. Ein solcher Spieler: Martingaleur.
