Skamma

Skamma (gr. Ant.), in den Gymnasien u. Palästren ein tief ausgegrabener od. mit Gräben umzogener, mit Sand überfahrener Platz, auf welchem sich die Athleten übten od. Kranke zur Stärkung im Sande wadeten.
