Metopĭus, bei Panzer Gattung der Schlupfwespen; Leib sehr lang, halbaufsitzend, walzig, breites zweites Glied der Kinnladentaster, querliegender Kopf; bildet bei Andern eine Untergattung von Ichneumon; Art: M. necatorius.
