Suctĭo

Suctĭo (lat.), das Saugen. Daher Suctorium, so v.w. Canna. 5). Suctorĭa, so v.w. Flöhe. Suctoriae aperturae, Saugöffnungen, kleine, längliche, kreisförmige, ovale od. fast viereckige, an der untern Fläche der Blätter u. andern grünen Pflanzentheilen befindliche, mit einer, die Einsaugung vermittelnden, linien- od. lanzettförmigen od. viereckigen Öffnung in der Mitte versehene Körperchen.
