Takăpe (a. Geogr.), Stadt an der Küste der Kleinen Syrte mit unsicherem Hafen; wurde später römische Colonie u. gehörte zu der Tripolitana; in der Nähe waren die Tacapitānae aquae, heiße (Schwefel-) Quellen; j. Gabes.
