Talcahuăno, 1) Departamiento der Provinz Concepcion in der südamerikanischen Republik Chile; 4101 Ew.; 2) Hauptstadt darin, mit Hafen an der Talcahuano Bai des Stillen Oceans, hatte früher an 4000 Ew., wurde aber 1835 durch ein Erdbeben fast gänzlich zerstört.
