Tapētum alveŏli, die die Zahnhöhle auskleidende, die Zahnwurzel umschließende, die zum Zahn gehenden Gesäße u. Nerven aufnehmende, dünne Haut. T. choroidĕae, ein seines, weißes, durchsichtiges, nur mit bewaffnetem Auge erkennbares Plättchen, an der hintern, innern, nicht vom schwarzen Pigment bedeckten Fläche der Gefäßhaut des Auges. T. corpŏris callōsi, dünne, aus divergirenden Fasern bestehende, das Dach u. die äußere Wand des hintern u. absteigenden Horns der seitlichen Gehirnhöhle bildende Schicht.
