Tutor (lat.), 1) Beschützer; 2) Vormund, s.d. Daher Tutorium, die gerichtliche Bestätigung zum Vormund; tutorio nomine, vermöge der Vormundschaft; 3) der Beistand der Magistra der Beguinen; 4) Untergattung von Monitor, s. Wächter.
