Wörd, Schloß bei Benfelden im jetzigen französischen Departement Niederrhein, aus welchem die Grafen von W. stammten, welche 1192 mit Sigebert die Herrschaft in der Landgrafschaft Niederelsaß erhielten u. bis 1359 regierten, wo unter Johann II. die Landgrafschaft an die Grafen von Öttingen kam; s. Elsaß S. 659.
