Ampelopsis (A. Mchk.), Untergattung der Gattung Cissus (s.d.), mit ungetheiltem Kelche, 5 an der Spitze freien Blumenblättern u. 5 Staubfäden. A. quinquefolia (Wilder Wein), aus NAmerika stammend, mit 5zählig gefingerten, im Herbste rothwerdenden Blättern, rankendem Stengel, häufig seiner reichen Belaubung wegen zur Bekleidung von Wänden u. Lauben benutzt.
