Bezabde (Phönice, a. Geogr.), feste Stadt in Mesopotamien, am Tigris, nordöstlich von Nisibis. Die Römer entrissen es den Persern u. machten es zum Municipium. Jetzt wahrscheinlich Dsjesire, welches die Syrer Gazarta od. Zebedara nennen.
