Bright (spr. Breit), Richard, außerordentlicher Leibarzt der Königin von England, Mitglied der königlichen Gesellschaft der Wissenschaften u. des königlichen Collegiums der Ärzte, Arzt am Gays Hospital u. Lector der medicinischen Praxis. Nach ihm ist die Brightsche Krankheit (s.d.) benannt.
