Gurrah, 1) (Gurra), Stadt im britischen Gebiet von Sangor u. Nerbudda in Ostindien, am rechten Ufer der Nerbudda längs einer Bergkette erbaut; 3000 Ew.; von G. u. der benachbarten Stadt Mandla führte dieser Theil von Gondwana, der zur Zeit Akbar's eine Wildniß war, den Namen Gurrha-Mandla; 2) (Desha), Fluß in den nordwestlichen Provinzen in Ostindien, der an Pilleebheel u. Shahjehanpoor vorbeifließt, nach einem Laufe von 52 Meilen in die westliche Ramgunga, einen Nebenfluß des Ganges, fällt, wegen meist niedrigem Wasserstande aber nicht schiffbar ist.
