Hypha (gr.), 1) Gewebe; 2) (Bot.), die Saite, der fädliche od. haarähnliche Stamm der Fadenpilze; 3) H. Pers., Pflanzengattung aus der Familie der Hyphomycetes (Byssi-Meteorici), als aus seinen Fäden bestehende Überzüge, auf Steinen, Erde, faulem Holz, von verschiedener Färbung sich darstellend.
