Karnak, 1) Dorf auf den Ruinen des alten Theben (s.d.) in Oberägypten; 2) (K.-Logone), Hauptstadt der zum Reiche Bornu gehörenden Landschaft Logone (Inner-Afrika), liegt am Serbenel u. hat 15,000 Ew., welche u.a. sehr schöne Kleiderstoffe fertigen u. mit Indigo färben.
