Regillus, kleiner See in Latium oberhalb Tusculum, zwischen Gabii u. Lavicum; an ihm 496 v. Chr. Niederlage der Latiner durch die Römer unter dem Dictator A. Postumius, s. Rom (Gesch.). Es ist ungewiß, welcher jetzige See der R. ist, nach im. Lago della Cava, nach Aud. das jetzt trocken liegende Thal von Isidoro; der j. Regillo ist er nicht.
