Rescission (v. lat.), die Aufhebung, Umstoßung. Rescissĭo actōrum princĭpis, die Vernichtung der Anordnungen, ertheilten Privilegien etc. eines Kaisers nach dessen Tod od. Absetzung, befohlen vom Senat od. dem nachfolgenden Kaiser.
