Timanthes, griechischer Maler aus Kythnos, nach Andern aus Sikyon, Zeitgenoß des Parrhasios; einer der Maler, welche sich nur vier Farben bedienten; sein berühmtestes Bild war die Opferung der Iphigenia durch ihren Vater Agamemnon.
