Whitewater River (spr. Ueihtuater Riww'r), 1) Fluß in Nordamerika, entspringt im östlichen Theile des Staates Indiana in zwei Quellflüssen, dem East u. West Fork, welche sich bei Brookville vereinigen, fließt dann südöstlich in den Staat Ohio u. fällt. in den Miami River; 2) Fluß ebenda, entspringt in der Grafschaft Cape Girardeau des Staates Missouri, fließt südöstlich, trennt sich in zwei Arme (East u. West Whitewater), fließt durch den See St. Mary u. vereinigt sich mit dem Castor River (s. d); 3) so v.w. Walhonding River.
