Xylostrōma (X. Tode), Pflanzengattung aus der Familie der Staubfadenpilze, von Fries nur als Keimlager größerer Pilze betrachtet; Arten: lederartig, oft in großen Flächen faules Holz überziehend, so X. gigantum, von zäher, weich anzufühlender, dem Corduan ähnlicher Masse, in alten Eichen.
