Mugg (Mugh), ein Volk birmanischen Stammes, die Urbewohner von Arracan (s.d.), wo sie noch die größere Hälfte der Bevölkerung bilden. Sie haben ihre eigene Sprache, das Rakhaing, welches dem Birmanischen ähnlich ist, u. bedienen sich zum Schreiben derselben des birmanischen Alphabets.
