Muntingĭa (M. L.), Pflanzengattung (benannt nach Abraham Munting, geb. 1626 in Grönin gen, st. 1683; schr. Mehreres über Botanik), aus der Familie der Tiliaceae-Grewicae, 13. Kl. 1. Ordn. L.; Arten: M. glabra, mit fastigen Beeren von der Größe der Kirschen, auf den Autillen.
