Arimaspi (Arimasthä, a. Geogr.), mythisches Volk im äußersten NO. Asiens, an dem, Goldsand führenden Fluß Arimaspa, zu den Hyperboräern gezählt, sie wurden für einäugig ausgegeben, u. es sollten neben ihnen die goldhütenden Greise wohnen, denen sie das Gold wegnahmen. Sie waren von Aristeas (s.d.) in der Arimaspeia besungen worden.
