Ayscough (spr. Ähskoss), Samuel, geb. zu Nottingham; ward Tischler, erhielt aber 1770 eine Stelle am Britischen Museum u. st. 1805. Er lieferte u.a. einen Katalog über die Manuscripte des Museums, Lond. 1782, einen Bücherkatalog desselben, ebd. 1787, Fol.
