Bareily, 1) (Barelly), District in der britischvorderindischen Provinz Delhi, Präsidentschaft Bengalen; 2) Hauptstadt darin am Zusammenfluß der Joah u. Lunkra; Appellationsgericht, Fort, Töpferei, Waffen- u. Teppichfabrikation, Handel; 70,000 Ew. Seit 1802 britische Besitzung.
