Bothwell Bridge

Bothwell Bridge (spr. Boßnell Bridsch), Brücke über den Clyde in der Grafschaft Lanark (Provinz SSchottland) unweit Hamilton. Hier am 21. Juni 1671 Schlacht zwischen den königlich englischen Truppen unter dem Herzog von Monmouth u. den schottischen Puritanern, Letztere wurden nach tapferer Gegenwehr geschlagen u. der Krieg beendet.
