Branchiogastra (B. Latr.), Familie der Krebse (bei Goldfuß Heuschreckenkrebse); Latreille theilt sie in Squillares (Gattung Squilla u. Erichthus) u. in Gammarini (Gattung Phronyma, Gammarus, Talithrus, Corophium), stehen bei Cuvier unter Stomatopoda u. Amphipoda.
